By now almost everyone has heard that Congress did approve the allocation of an extra $2 billion dollars in cash for clunker funds. So get out to a dealer asap before the money runs out. Remember the first $1 billion ran out within a week so don’t expect funds to last much longer than the rest of the month.

Here’s a link to a ‘buyer beware’ article that will help prospective car buyers know what they are in for when they deal with the cash for clunker program. As it turns out, the paperwork requirements are a bit finicky. Forewarned is forearmed…Knowledge is power and all that jazz.
