The automotive focused cash for clunkers program may have ended, but consumers will still be able to receive rebates from the government for home appliances.

Starting sometime this Fall (exact dates are unknown, but it looks like sometime after October 15) consumers who buy approved energy efficient appliances will receive rebates between $50 and $200.  Rebates will apply to almost any home appliance including, stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, furnaces, and refrigerators.
